Every member of the church was a first timer one day or the other so our suggestions are to help your visit with us be as smooth and comfortable as possible.
If you want to be picked up at home and returned home after the 10.30am meeting on Sunday, you can speak to our administrator on 01912300662. He will take your address and tell you what time you can expect to be picked up.
If you choose to drive to church or use the public transport, plan to arrive at about 10.15am so you can find a seat, relax with a cup of tea or coffee and most importantly not to miss the start of the service which is very inspiring.
If you are driving, there is on-street parking available outside of church, and in the surrounding area.
If you are using public transport, Stagecoach run bus services 39, 40 have bus stops on Brighton Grove; and services 10, 11 and 38 have bus stops on Westgate Road. If you are coming from the West End of Newcastle, you will need the stop straight after the General Hospital. If you are coming from the town centre then you will need the stop after Westgate Primary School.
We are a multicultural church and so some people dress smartly while others are in casual or clothing that reflects their culture. Our advice will be for you to wear whatever you are comfortable with.
You will be made welcome by our ushers who will guide you to your seats or provide tea and coffee (before 10.30am). If you’re a wheelchair user then our Welcome Team will help you find the best place in the auditorium for you.
The meeting starts with a time of worship music that you should feel free to join in, followed by a short welcome for our first timers (we have a special welcome pack ready for guests) and the sermon is for about 40 mins followed by some time to pray with you if you want.
We believe these suggestions will make you more comfortable in joining us on Sunday and we look forward to meeting you so we can together become better people and show forth the glory of God.
