Newcastle Apostolic Church

OUR HISTORY

The Apostolic Church worldwide was first formed in 1916 as a result of the 1904 Welsh revival. We are a Trinitarian, Pentecostal denomination with a strong commitment to mission.

In 1922 the Apostolic Church started to send out men and women as missionaries to the various countries of the world and so today some 100 years later we have churches in every continent and in 90 different countries with a worldwide membership of between 7 to 8 million members.

Within the UK the Apostolic Church is represented by approximately 110 churches and Newcastle Apostolic Church is one of them. The Apostolic Church has been in Newcastle for over 60 years.

Our church convention is held annually in September and has guest ministers from around the world.
